Takeru Satoh As Ryotaro Nogami
Ryotaro Nogami (野上 良太郎 Nogami Ryōtarō?) is a young man with a lot of bad luck. When he first appeared, he managed to lodge himself in a tall tree while on his bike after losing control and going up a fallen sign. He has even placed a name tag in his wallet so it can be returned to him when it is stolen. Despite his hardships, Ryotaro will help anyone in need if he has the ability to do so. He refuses to accept self-sacrifice as the only means to protect others.
As a Singularity Point, he can resist the control of an Imagin contracted to him, among other things, as long as he's conscious. Due to this unique attribute, he was given the power to become Den-O, a Kamen Rider who protects the timeline from the Imagins' actions. As Ryotaro continues on his mission, he meets more Imagin, each taking his body and using it as their own for the duration of their possession. Each of his personality changes affect the color of his eyes and some strands of his hair, changing its color to match the Imagin.
Momotaros (モモタロス, Momotarosu) is the first Imagin that gives Ryotaro his power, which allows for the Sword Form transformation. He can also sense when an Imagin is rampaging in the city, subsequently alerting Ryotaro immediately. His natural weapon as an Imagin is a sword named the
Momotarosword (モモタロスォード, ). Momotaros blames Ryotaro for his Oni-like form, though it matches his personality, best described as hot blooded, arrogant, and comedic, serving as a foil to Ryotaro's own shy and cowardly personality. In fact, Momotaros is more interested in fighting than carrying out the Imagin's goal.
Unfortunately, he is constantly beaten by Hana when he gets Ryotaro into trouble. When he possesses Ryotaro, declaring the words "Here I come!" (俺、参上!, Ore, sanjō!) Momotaros's own personality takes over, giving Ryotaro a boost in strength and controlling his body. His eagerness is shown in battle, where he always declares the words, "From the start (to the finish), I'm at a climax!" (俺は最初から(最後まで)クライマックスだぜ!, Ore wa saisho kara (saigo made) kuraimakkusu da ze!). Momotaros is also somewhat selfish, initially fighting alongside Ryotaro in order to ensure his own survival.
Though he unknowingly places Ryotaro in unneeded danger to suit his fancy, Momotaros eventually learns to respect him and his desire to protect others. Though he demands respect, Momotaros is usually put in his place by Hana and her powerful punches. He also does not know how to swim, has a narcotic reaction to red peppers, and is terrified of dogs. While he acts hostile and demeaning to the other Tarōs, he does care about them, proven by hiding his anguish while they are slowly disappearing due to the events of the Climax Scene.
Ryotaro held his own in the entire TV series without wishing to any of the Imagin, keeping all his Imagin in their ash state when 'on-land'. However, Momotaros and the others are able to be present alongside Ryotaro for the final battle, after Ryotaro unwittingly wishes to Kintaros that they fight alongside him. He manages to survive the area being wasted while holding off Kai's Imagin army, dealing the final blow to the Death Imagin with aid of the other Tarōs, Sieg, and Zeronos adding their power into his blade through "My Hissatsu Attack, Final Version" (俺の必殺技ファイナルバージョン, Ore no hissatsu waza fainaru bājon). Ryotaro takes his leave from the Den-Liner, Momotaros is silent on the Den-Liner as it departs, only to jump to the window at the last second to say goodbye to Ryotaro and promise to meet again as the Den-Liner departs back into the timestream. That promise is kept during the events of "Final Countdown" when Momotaros is stunned to be fighting Ryotaro while he's possessed by the Ghost Imagin, nearly getting himself killed to free his friend as they fight together against Shiro with Ryotaro's grandson aiding them. Later, he becomes a hot-blooded member of the Den-Liner Police that is formed to battle Negataros. Though Negataros was destroyed, Momotaros keeps the new group together as he sees being a cop as a cool thing.
When possessing Ryotaro (or anyone else) or by himself, Momotaros can assume Den-O's Sword Form through the Terminal Buckle, the first and most used form in the series. When in Sword Form he uses the DenGasher as a standard sword-style weapon. This form is the most balanced among Den-O's forms, probably due to Momotaros' prominence among the other Imagin. He occasionally forms different finishers for defeating enemies, despite parts 2, 3, and 5 being similar to each other. He also uses a Special Version in I'm Born which resembles the aforementioned parts, the only difference is that Full Charge is used twice. There is also a Final Version used against the Death Imagin which uses energy from the other Taros, Sieg, and Kamen Rider Zeronos. In the Cho Den-O series Sword Form also has a triple Roundhouse Rider Kick that Momotaros dubs his "Super Finishing Attack." The DenKamen Mask resembles two halves of a peach, which is based on the story of Momotaro.

EQUIPTMENT
Den-O Belt
The Den-O Belt is Kamen Rider Den-O's transformation belt. It is affixed with a device known as the SetTouch in the Terminal Buckle, which can read a Rider Pass and the Imagin contained on it. When the Rider Pass is swiped across the SetTouch, a transformation along with multiple form changes can occur. The belt has four buttons (red, blue, yellow, purple), each activating a specific form (Sword, Rod, Ax, Gun), known as the Form Switch. It is also used to activate the primary finisher, Full Charge. A variation of the belt, known as the Wing Buckle, is affixed with a gold winged plate where the Terminal Buckle would normally be and allows for the Wing Form transformation. Any Imagin contracted to a Rider Pass can also use the Den-O Belt to transform into the form they control.
DenGasher
The Combination Armament DenGasher is modeled after a bullet train and is Den-O's primary weapon. The DenGasher is composed of four separate parts that, when not in use, are attached to the Den-O Belt. Although the weapon configs aren't stuck to a specific form of Den-O, there are certain combinations which function best with its form. Climax Form typically uses it in Sword Mode. Liner Form can also use the DenGasher when the Den-Kamen Sword is unavailable. For Sword Form, the DenGasher is used in Sword Mode, which is formed by combining the Ax and Gun parts, which Momotaros usually lobs into the air, pulling out the Sword and Grip parts, and docking all four together as the joined Ax-Gun portion falls back down. Afterwards, a blade extends from the top of the sword. For Rod Form, the DenGasher is used in Rod Mode. The 4 parts are linked together in a straight line, one by one in the order of Sword, Gun, Ax, and Grip. Once complete, the DenGasher extends itself until it is the size of a staff, it can be used as a fishing rod or a harpoon. For Ax Form, the DenGasher is used in Ax Mode. The Grip & Gun parts are stacked on top of each other, creating the handle. The Sword part is then attached to the handle, followed by the Ax part, at which point the blade then extends and expands. For Gun Form, the DenGasher is used in Gun Mode, the Sword and Ax parts are stacked on top of each other. The Grip part is attached to the bottom of this, while the Gun part falls into place, forming the barrel. For Wing Form, the DenGasher has two modes, Handaxe Mode and Boomerang Mode, in which two pieces each are used for each weapon. The Sword and Grip parts form the Boomerang and the Ax and Gun parts form the Handaxe.
Den-Bird
The Machine Den-Bird is Den-O's personal Honda XR250 bike that is able to launch from the DenLiner. Although Ryotaro never uses it as a mean of transportation, the Taros would sometimes use it while possessing his body. While docked in the DenLiner, it serves as the control mechanism for the train. When a Rider Pass, along with a Rider Ticket, is inserted into the Den-Bird while it is docked in the DenLiner, the date on the ticket becomes DenLiner's destination. During the fight with the Oct Imagin, the bike is sabotaged by the enemy and turns against Den-O. Though it burst into flames, the Den-Bird was later repaired or replaced fast enough to be used against the rampaging time-tracks under the control of the Oct Imagin's remains.
